0.12.0 — local AI apps, mindmap, and the desktop runners panel
Stellary now connects cloud and local execution: agent missions through installed runners, shared workspace models, a mindmap view to structure a project, and a clearer desktop panel to steer runs.
- Local AI apps: workspace catalog and end-to-end documentation for local CLIs and servers.
- Desktop: runners panel with tabs, model capabilities, and explicit errors on user actions.
- Board: hierarchical mindmap of cards and relations inside a project scope.
- Website: Local AI apps guide (EN/FR) and an enriched mission constellation hero.

Major releases
The milestones that shaped the recent evolution of the product.
Local AI apps and the mindmap view extend hybrid agent execution.
- Stellary Desktop runs agent missions through local CLIs and servers (Codex, Claude, Cursor, LM Studio, and additional runners), with a workspace catalog of shared models.
- Refreshed local runners panel: execution, models, repos, queue, and run history tabs, capability badges (reasoning, image), and explicit errors on user actions.
- Project mindmap view: hierarchical graph of cards and relations in a dedicated scope, alongside the Kanban board.
- Local AI apps documentation guide (EN/FR), richer docs search and navigation; refreshed marketing hero and mission constellation.
Project setup, automations, and desktop flows get more reliable.
- Project creation: the AI wizard now goes straight into roadmap generation, without a second Generate roadmap step.
- Authentication: Google and GitHub sign-up is more reliable, with consistent behavior across web and desktop.
- Card activity: replies posted from the Activity tab no longer get submitted twice.
- Automations: all 7 triggers are accepted by the API, move / status / priority / assign / archive actions match the engine, and existing rules remain compatible.
- MCP & plugins: X is now part of the documented plugin surface, and MCP-only agents keep their configured autonomy mode.
- Desktop & downloads: update and download flows are clearer, with the macOS build temporarily paused while Apple signing is prepared.
Documents, pipelines, and AI memory all step up at once.
- The library becomes a true explorer: folders, breadcrumbs, a collapsible sidebar, list / grid / icon views, and reading mode by default.
- Pipelines: scope / project / workspace availability, waiting_input status, debug test-run, and an aligned execution UI.
- AI memory and knowledge search: DocumentChunk segments, scoring, conflict handling, and a consolidated agent-runtime / agent-memory orchestration.
- Upcoming plugins catalog (Cursor, Linear, Jira, Notion, GitLab, Sentry, Figma, Datadog, Stripe…) and a richer super-admin (workspaces view, alerts, support access).
- Marketing site: EN/FR legal pages, blog post layout, MDX components, robots, and SEO.
The project wizard gets sharper and much easier to use.
- Smoother loading transitions while the project structure is being generated and refined.
- AI-recommended options, date questions, and free-text feedback when you regenerate the roadmap.
- Generated structure now starts closer to execution, with a more consistent flow from the dashboard.
AI-assisted project setup and real-time collaboration become core product capabilities.
- AI-assisted project creation from a multi-step draft.
- Live card sync and updates across workspace members.
- Card templates and board screens integrated more cleanly into the full experience.
Stellary becomes a real multi-workspace collaboration platform.
- Organizations, workspaces, and invites so teams can work without mixing contexts.
- Stronger auth with password reset, email verification, 2FA, and API tokens.
- Board upgrades with automations, card relations, custom fields, list view, and stats.
- Command palette, mentions, Markdown, user settings, and template management.
Pilotage, planning, and cross-project visibility arrive in the app.
- Cockpit to track priorities, missions, todos, decisions, and proposed actions.
- Dates, priorities, calendar view, and project portfolio for better planning.
- Assignment, notifications, project export / import, and minor bug fixes for everyday use.
